hey guys.. most of you remmeber the thread about a week ago, where i installed the SCT and C&L and had some trouble..well the tuner didnt come wiht a tuen for teh C&L racer.. and i have a C.E.L. and i know its running a little too lean..

my question is.. how bad is this and how soon should i get it fixed.. can i mess anyhting up..

and the status is that i am waiting for RPM outlet to get back with me on a tune there gunan send me for free.. other wise im gunna open a dispute wiht the credit card company....

are you running the CAI with the wrong tune....then yes that is dumb and you wil get into more problems. just return everything to stock and wait

 

its on a C&L tune.. but its made for the street C&L not the racer..

im either getin the tune from RPM or a custom tuen from justin at VMP tuning.. (while disputing with the CC company if they dont return/reply to my calls and send me a tune)

 

right and the racer tune is not meant for the street.....different a/f ratio will result and it might not run to well either really. Just return to stock and get the VMP tune.....its a $50 fix that is worth $500

 

well he quoted me 200 with dyno runs and what not.. which is still a good price..

but not sure whats gunna happen yet

Yeah - if you're concerned about how lean it's running you better get it fixed or return to stock. Detonation is bad - ummmkay.

 

well i have been running it like this for about a week.. and am tryin to get this resolved.. and also dont want to go through everyhting to make it stock again.

i will email justin, and see if he can fit me in this week if RPM doesnt handle it!

im gunna call them right now

 

just put on your stock CAI and reflash to stock, correct? then just wait til you have everything you need...
