remove Black Plastic casing in trunk??

remove Black Plastic casing in trunk??
Does the black plastic case looking thing on the inside of the trunk lid come off? It feels like if u continu to pull at it, it will pop out but I don't want to break anything.

Hummm.. they must have changed something from the 05's. If you are referring to the piece that covers the trunk lock assembley and has the emergency I got my stupid *** locked in the trunk handle hanging out of it, mine just pops off. Has clips holding it on.

Same here, mine has metal clips. Mine broke from me taking it out to many times, i'm glad it's gone. I couldn't for the life of me keep that damn thing from making noise.
