Real quick, speaker grill removal. :P
What's the proper way to remove the door speaker grills? 2005stang doesn't have instructions for that specific part, only what to do after that.

if your talking about on the actuall sub in the door.. i would like to know also.. (i think your reffering to the actually grill that covers the face of the sub)
if your talking about the plastic ring, or the door panel, then thats all in the manuals online..
post up if you find anything out, i am intrested..

I changed out my stock speakers on my 2005 GT last year and used the guide from Crutchfield to figure out how to remove the factory speakers. Here's a link:

So from what I understand the grill is not removed seperatly but instead you remove the whole door trim. Now that makes sense.

Also, there is a bolt that secures the 8in door sub inside its enclosure. It bolts into the back of the speaker magnet. You have to remove it before you can remove the sub.
