Default 6 different options...

Got $1400 for parts and have four different combinations I am looking at and all are from lethalperformance.com

1) Granatelli CAI, Hurst short throw, Meziere electric water pump and their relay kit, BMR lca's, Granatelli motor mounts
2) JBA long tube headers and offroad h-pipe, Granatelli UDP's, Granatelli motor mounts
3) Granatelli CAI, Hurst short throw, FRPP 3.73 gears, BMR level 2 LCA package, Granatelli motor mounts
4) Granatelli CAI, Comp Cams stage 2 shafts with beehive springs and steel retainers, Granatelli motor mounts
5) Granatelli CAI, Granatelli Coil Packs, BMR level 2 LCA package
6) Granatelli CAI, Hurst short throw, Spydershaft ds, FRPP 3.73 gears, Granatelli motor mounts, Granatelli UDP's

Which combo would you choose, and why? If not one of these combos, then what would you do for the $1400 for upgradable parts? Labor will be paid for, and this money is strictly for parts and nothing else. I want so go for my show...lol

7) JLT 2 CAI and tune from brenspeed , JBA LT headers with o/r H-pipefrom rpmoutlet( []) , and some dice for my rear view mirror.

I'd rather have the xcal, and 3 tunes that I could use towards my headers than just a CAI. Personally i'd put in an extra 100-150 bucks and get the 1-3/4"dynatech headers. I've also got 3.55 gears, and the swap to 3.73 isnt enough to warrant the cost(cant ignore install, I cant imagine you doing this yourself) in my newbish opinion.

Since your looking at the Granatelli are you trying to stay away from a Tune? I understand those CAI dont need one.

there have been some problems with that intake, although some have said they fixed it. i think a guy just posted he still got a bad MAF or something. Do some research is all I can say before you spend that dough. i think you said you wanted show? or is it perforamce. Here are some suggestions.

First things first. Intake with a tune.
Either Brenspeed or b a ma chips. I would go with whoever is cheapest right now. Both make a good tune and are recomendable. looking for a little more power get the delete plates with the tune. Brenspeed will give you a free tune if you order through them.

Tune 600.00
Delete plates 150.00
Lower the car. best money I spent on it. the car handled alot better. Eibach kit from tire rack. 250 shipped.
Tint the windows. 100-150. get mole skins if your worried about scratches.
Hurst shifter. 200

Well ive spent about 1,100 of your money so far. thes rest I would save for LCA and a panhard. or some exterior mods. Want a little more go. Do GEARS.

CAI/tuner....even if you get a dyno tune you will need to buy the tuner, (C&L, JLT, Steeda)
Shifter (Hurst, MGW)
Suspension (BMR LCA, rear sway, panhard and some springs)
Exhaust
