The mustanf and Scion are in different leagues.

You will ruin your car with them IMO.

Anyone over 18 will laugh at you behind your back.

Are you talking like blue lights on the dash for the instruments, radio, climate controls and window controls? Or are you talking like blue lights in the footwell area?

One of my friends has an SVT Contour with the typical green lights for all the things I mentioned above. He simply removed the controls, and changed green bulbs to blue ones. On his climate *****, he pulled them off and put blue film over the clear part where the green light shines through.
He also put blue in his ashtray area, in the cubby hole areas and underthe dash shining to the footwell area.

I think it looks good; if done tastefully. If you stick to one color, and you don't have bulbs showing, I do not think it looks "rice".

As far as the "anyone over 18 laughing" comment, I've seen plenty of older Harley owners with blue neons on their bikes.
