Default Sequentials? <--- Update, Installed

It is finally done and they look AWESOME!

This is the kit I bought: http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...splay/635.html

Before the purchase:
CDC's email customer service person, Paul was excellent and responded to my question in 1 day. My only hesitation was if I had to remove the shaker1000 subwoofer to install the sequentials and the answer is NO but in my opinion, it would be MUCH easier if you can (we chose not to).

(note to ford: how the hell am I supposed to change the light bulbs with the subwoofer so close to the taillight housing???)

The installation took about a total of 1 hour with the help of my brother and husband (who handed me the tools and tightened the nuts that I couldn't)

General instructions to see if you are up to it:

Remove the plastic covering inside the trunk that covers the taillight housing.

Remove the rug and rug pieces.

Use an 11 socket (wrench on the right) to unscrew the bolts that hold the taillights in - there are 3 on each side. (right side is the pain).

Unclip harness and Remove taillight - switch out factory harness & bulbs with CDC harness and repeat on other side.

Plug both in and have someone test them out, the reverse/flashers and blinkers/brake...

Place everything back together!

Thanks Scott and Garry for your help! LOVE THEM!

Orig. Message:
Hi! Has anyone installed the new harness type sequentials? And of so, what brand did you use, how did the install go (any missing instructions) and are you happy with them?

Thanks in advance,

I also have the Web Electric but I purchased from AmericanMuscle.com, $139.00 free shipping for the '05.

I took my time and it took me about 30 minutes. Hardest part is getting your hands behind the trunk liner even after screws are removed. I ended up breaking one of the rivet plugs. [&:] Use a rag to temporarilty jam the opening.

Definately a can do project.

Web electric sequentials are easy and fast installing. I love mine! Since I'm not mechanically inclined ... saying they're easy to install is an understatement.

Well worth the price imo.
