So I haven't been around in a while because I've just been waiting for my new car. Originally I had put together an absolutely killer mustang that I was going to order until one day I found out that I could get a 2008 just a few short weeks later. After a couple days of contemplating what I should do, I decided that I would wait for the 2008 and gain that year of depreciation back.

Well, fast foreward the few weeks to the date that Icould have ordered a 2008 (May 15th I believe) and I start talking to my go-to guy for my new car. Apparently, when he called to inquire about the 2008, turns out that the dealer liked my config so much that he placed the order anyway.

Now Ihad two options, either take first dibs on that 07' which was everything I wanted and more, or spend the time to research, put together and order an 08'. What did I do you ask? Well, the 08' would have come in MAYBE by mid august, but most likely september. The 07' has a build date of get this... JUNE 4th!!! That's today boys and girls Can you blame me for being a bit excited? I chose the 07' because of 3 things. One, I get a lot more time with my summer ride. Two, I speced it out, I resarched it and I made it my own car, why would I want to do that again? and three, now I get a $1000rebate and a cheaper Ford X-plan price

Kick *** huh?!?!?! I'm fliping out I'm so excited! Within the next couple weeks I'll have my new baby!!!

haha - June 4th, huh? Maybe ours are being built side-by-side?!? Mine's being built today as well - woohoo!!! I can't stand all this waiting. Give a shout when you get yours in!

Trust me, I'll have pics up the day I get it, I can't freaking wait!!! I'm hoping it's here soon, I just want to be out in my first new car riding with the top down and the wind blowin.

On another note, to rub it in my face just a little bit more... Down the road from my best friends house, 2 houses across the street from each other got brand new stangs a week apart. One Redfire with a tan top, the other redfire with a black top.

I'll be around a lot and even more when the car comes in. I have to make a new post with a question though when I get home.

Well, don't be too upset if your car doesn't get delivered right away. Mine was built on Feb 15 but didn't arrive at the dealer until Mar 20. But maybe it was delayed due to snow on the roads or something...... Anyway, good luck. Redfire is a great color.

 

Mine was built 4/30, and I was driving it on 5/4. Cruising may not be far away!
