Temporary Reg. on vert
Just picked up the car on Friday (will post pics assoon as I figure out how to resize them) and I need some advice on where to place the temporary registration until I get all the paperwork in the mail. They usually go on the back window, but its pretty useless there when you have the top down. Any advice? I was thiking of putting it on the window and keeping a photocopy on me in case I get pulled over, but that still leaves wiggle room for the cops to write me up.

Mount it inside the rear window. If you get pulled over with the top down, you can always put up the top to reveal it to the cop.
EDIT: If you need to resize pics, you can use MS Paint to cut the size by a certain percentage. Paint is on every PC (Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> Paint). Then just load them onto your favorite host.

In California, they always put the temp reg in the passenger side of the windshield.....upper corner..

In michigan, they actually put the temp in plastic, and put it in the rear license plate frame.
