Default Suspension Question

I’m looking at upgrading the suspension on my Mustang. It’s mainly a high way and spirited back roads cruiser (twisties). Occasionally I will take it to the strip (1/8) when I add performance parts to see what they do for me. I’m looking for a softer or less jolting ride. There are a lot of potholes where I live. Mainly I want the rear to stop bouncing so much when I go around a corner and hit a bad spot in the road. I am not lowering my car or replacing the stock driveshaft. Here is a list of components I am looking at, after reading some threads on here. BMR rear sway bar, Toicko D-spec shocks, BMR LCAs (non adjustable), BMR UCA (non-adjustable), BMR Panhard Bar & Brace (non adjustable), BMR A-Arm support. I’m looking at non-adjustable pieces because I read that the adjustables were not needed unless the car was lowered or using a different driveshaft. My budget is limited so I cannot get everything at once. I want to know in what order should I buy these components. Keeping the rear planted it number one priority, then ride smoothness, and then handling. I figured I buy the items in the same order I listed them in. Please let me know if I should get one before the other.

The rear will always jolt the way you are describing. It's a live axle - that's just the way it is.

If you're not lowering it you don't need the panhard rod

Get adjustable pieces. never say never. Someday you may change your mind. Don't buy things twice.

Good choices on your Set-up..

but flyer is right..its a live Axle...you can make it better..but you will always will have that JOLT..to some extent..

Making the D-specs on the softest settings will help...with that feel free to lower the car..

Thanks guys. I guess I was just a little spoiled coming from a Lincoln LS with IRS. However, my 69 Mustang does not seem near as jolting either. I guess that is the price to pay for a firmer better handling car. Because I know the 06 will out handle the 69. I know comparing 40 year old technology isn't fair either.
