Roush Spoiler mounting kit ???
I just purchased a Roush spoiler and received it, however it didn't come with the mounting kit (screws, nuts, double sided tape, and most importantly the templates for drilling the holes). Does anyone know where I can get this kit from?
I can probably find some screws, nuts and double sided tape, but the templates are my biggest concern. If anyone has installed the Roush spoiler and still has their templates please let me know if you can send them to me. THANKS

If you ordered it from a factory authorized dealer, just call them and they should send you the kit. If you bought it off Ebay, or used, I would suggest calling the Roush Performance Customer Service number. They should be able to tell you who manufactures the kit for them and you can probably order it separately.
I spoke to them a while ago and they seemed helpful.

It all depends on whom you purchased it from.
I would go back to them and ask WTF.
Unless you got it dirt cheap off of the bay
and if thats the case, you get what you pay for.[&o]

I already talked to the company I purchased it from. They said that some of the kits have been coming without the mounting hardware and that I could send it back for a full refund, or they would give me a refund of $30 and I could try and find the hardware elsewhere. So I wanted to see if I can find the hardware and templates for under $30. I can get the screws and nuts directly from Ford for cheap (since they are the same that are on the regular spoilers, it just takes more of them), but the mounting template is my biggest concern. I don't want to attempt to drill holes in my car without being 100% positive I am doing it in the exact correct spot. It is hard enough to get the nerve up to drill holes in the car, I don't want to mess it up.
Cheap bolts from Ford?
Thats what I thought until
I wanted rear sway bar hardware.
6 bolts and 6 nuts later it was almost $40.

I have a friend that works at the local Ford dealer, so if I need something done to the car he usually does it for free. He justsays it needssome "warranty" work and charges it that way. I have gotten a few extra screws from him before. However they don't carry the Roush kit at my local dealer, so I can't get everything from them. I talked to someone at Roush today and they are sending me a complete mounting kit, so I should be all set.
Send it back man. I wouldn't dare attempt that installation without a template and hardware. There is way too much room for error and once you drill your car, you're stuck with it. Unless, of course, you want to pay a body shop to fix any mistakes. Better yet, tell that company where you made the purchase to open another spoiler kit and send you what you need. That company can sort it out with Roush later. If they refuse to do that, send it back and find another company to do business with.
FYI, I don't think there is a way to simply down load the template, as it is much longer and wider than standard paper. The template, prior to being trimmed, is about the size of your quarter panel.

Ok, I got the mounting kit from Roush Performance. Unfortunately they sent all the hardware but not the templates. Does anyone still have their templates from installing a Roush spoiler? I am going to call Roush Performance tomorrow during business hours, but I wanted to check out on here in case someone happened to have one. THANKS
