dose this really work?

http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=33-2298

Will it add power and help with my MRT axleback. Or am I just better off leaving the stock Air Filter in?

I know that adding a Cold air intake will increase hp. You may also need a tune. But not sure what the filter will do all by itself. Ask K&N. Maybe they will tell you. Couldn't not find anything on their web site. But replacing a dirty air filter with a clean one will increase power and MPG.

I put these in every car, not for HP gains, but for re-usability. $10 for the cleaner and oiling kit and you'll never have to go hunting for a filter again. I wouldn't expect any noticable HP gains.. but a clean filter, no matter what brand, can improve throttle response.
