Default Bad Turn Signal

I have Chasers on my wife's 2005 vert. None of the passenger side rear bulbs arelighting for brake or turn signal, but the parking lights still come on (all the bulbs are fine). I checked for current ahead of and after the connection for the Chaser wire on that side, and there is no current on either side of the splice. So my problem must be farther forward in the car. The maker of the Chaser unit is going to email me a wiring schematic, so I will try to chase the problem down (pun intended). I understand that there is a smart-box junction on the passenger-side kick panel.

My question here - Has anyone experienced taillight/turn signal trouble where the entire rear taillight went out? All ideas & suggestions are appreciated...

When I installed sequentials, i noticed that one bar wasn't lighting up when i put the blinkers on. Turns out our bulbs have two filaments in them, and that the blinker filament had gone bad, whereas the tail light filiment was still fine. Might want to spend the $5 or so on the 1 or two bulb package and see if that's the problem before you hunt down wires?

OK - so i guess i didn't read the whole thing regarding checking for current... oops.. chalk this one up to i was at work.. LOL

How did you check for current?

How did you check for current?
I used a voltmeter - took a utility knife to open up the insulation, then hit the flasher button and grounded each side to the trunk latch. The driver's side worked great at all points of contact, but the passenger side did not.

Guess what? They're working again! [:@] I didn't do anything to fix it, but now they work fine. I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Make sure you have a good ground circuit. You would be surprised the problems a loose or poor groud connection can create.
