Default PA tinting law

does anyone know how much tint is allowed in PA legally?

I live in P.A. from what I heard it is at the cops discretion and as long as he can see you inside the car there should not be any problems.30% I think would be pretty safe.By the way do you have 17 inch wheels yet because I may be selling mine.They are 17 inch premium aluminum [not the spoked}with stock 235/55 on them.They have 350 miles on them and are mint.Off a new 07

yeah i got the wheels just been to lazy to update my picture. is there any websites that show you how dark each % tint is?

Pa. state law is non tint on front side windows. You can have the back ones competely black.
I had my windows on my GTP 35% all the way around and did not get stopped though.

70% all around (basically not tint) with nothing on the windsheild. I hate to call BS on the guy above me but that's just not right. SUV's might be different, usually they are allowed anything on the rear windows like he said, but not cars.

Having said that, I think you'll be fine with 35% and most cops won't give you any problems. It will fail inspection for that however.
