Mrt Rear Louver
satin or like a flat/mat black. if its those you can EASILY do it yourself. i painted my spoiler mat black to get a little mach 1 theme going and alot of people have said it looks very professional. even when i took the car to the local performance shop they asked who did u have paint it haha.
I got the MRT louvers. Used their supplied template, got done installing the hinge plates and the studs on the plate were 3/8" shy of going in the hinge slots on the louvers. Called MRT, supposed to have an extra set of hinge plates on the way, but it's been 2 weeks and I haven't seen them. My best advice if you get them. Tapethe template on the window, but don't cut out the hinge plate areas, install the hinge plates on louvers and have a helper assist you and verify the cut outarea premarkeddoes match the actual position with hinge plates installed. It will save you the trouble thatI experienced.$400 worth of louvers in the living room and onelonely hinge plate stuck on the window, waiting for a mate....
I tried tomovethe left one inward, no go. Once those things adhere...I had to get it off with a heat gun.
YMMV

The MRT/Visus rear window louvers are powdercoated Satin Black, not flat black.
Mine have held up very well & having them hinged to clean the window after a wash is great.
I like the look of the metal Astro-Hammond ones, but the fact they're not hinged doesn't appeal to me.

Hey egdespeeder, i know this isnt an answer to your question but does the MRT rear louvers, and the ones you have for the side from wheelskin look the same? im talkin like the size of the individual slat in the louver. ive been lookin for side and rear louvers myself, but i dont want louvers that look like two different sizes on the front and the back.......if anyone else out there can make any suggestions id appreciate it.....
