Iam pretty sureany of theabove mentionedbrackets require you to drill into the front fascia or some part of the car to mount them. Do you really want to do that to your baby?

Yup, you will be drilling two new holes, but in my case the dealer had drilled into the front bumper to hang a plate already. Here in VA there's no getting around the front plate, and the ford bracket looked the best to me.

Yeah, my dealer drilled holes in my bumper, so they could advertise their dealership.... >:O

Anyway, I went to the dealership last night and asked about these parts. They said the 5# doesn't exist and 7# does, but wasn't in stock. I'll just be ordering offline then. Thanks again!

I actually have one that I ripped out of the lot attendants hands a second before he tried drilling the holes in the front bumper of my Shelby, you can have it for a very small fee to cover shipping. It's actually a GT plate holder, since when I received mine a year ago they did not have a GT500 specific plate holder (as it should be...).
