From a power standpoint, it's quite noticeable. Brenspeed claims 18 - 20 HP difference with my setup, although I have not confirmed this on the dyno. I got the 87, 89, and 91 tunes, and am running a K & N CAI (long story). With a different brand CAI, you may notice more of a difference. I've run all the octane tunes, and finally settled on the 91 as my daily tune. Once you have that much of a boost, it's very hard to use the lower tunes.

Before exhaust, before suspension, before you do any other mods, get the tune and CAI! You won't be sorry.

well heres my opinion, while using stock tires i got SLP header and xpipe. didnt do much power by themselves. then i ordered an intake/tune combo from evolution performance. i got my car dynod and it was 310/325, so it made a good difference, i think stock is around 265. but anyways, i noticed a pretty big difference, i dont know abotu just the tune alone, but i would guess it does 30-35 hp. which is good. i noticed it, only thing that sucked iwth stock tires is if i floored it in 1st gear on the street it would spin the tires alot. i got nittos and that helped, but didnt fix it all the way. u will like it alot

Depending on how good of a driver you are, to get into the 12's, you will probably need 4.10 gears, LT headers and probaly LCA's, UCA, adjustable shocks, stickier tires, maybe a 1 piece driveshaft.

If I were you, i'd probably concentrate on suspension next. That makes a huge difference in these cars.

I was a bit dissapointed when I first got my '05. I had been driving a '99 GT with performance chip so was hoping to see much more umph. Even considered a supercharger. After the intake and tune, my car seemed to jump forward when I gave it the gas. Much better now.

One is a tame lion, like the ones you see at the zoo. Yeah it's still a lion, but it's not quite the beast it should be. The other is a wild animal that you don't want to **** with!! It will chew you up and spit you out without a second thought.

I still remember my first drive after my cai and tune. Brings a smile to your face for sure.

Weight reductions, driveshaft, cai+tune, plus slicks will get you in the 12's. Assuming a good drivers. The manual car has the stock 3.55 gears as well.
