A local dealership has a used one with very low miles for less than $35K....I am sooooo tempted!
FWIW, there's alot of people, including myself, who are taking advantage of the situation we are currently in with the economy and getting GT500's for really good prices!

Thank You. Hadn't heard 'bout this website...
$31,5 is high??!! Think maybe you are..

Spend $35 k for something used or 31,5 for something brand new with 41 mls on it????? not much of a choice in my book.... Besides wouldn't own a shelby Just a souped up GT with a signature on it... Kinda works both ways huh, Paying for a name Kinda like buying a Harley, I see them everyday, have only seen 3 other GT R's

imo the fact that it is actually is called a GT-R is about as ricey as it gets. Great looking car with a name that takes away from it all...BUT its not my car so it doesnt really matter as long as the owner loves it.

Yes, it is high priced and in the end if you ever go to sell it, I doubt it would bring in more than a Shelby as far as collector car values. Shelby is way more than a souped up GT. It has 500+ hp and if you have extra $ you can buy a GT500 SS which has 750 hp.
But hey, as long as you are happy, then that's all that matters.

Default Need a History lesson

Wow don’t know if any of y’all are still here but I picked up a wrecked GT-“R” on Copart that I’m completely rebuilding. Might seem like a waste of money but I want to be different and build a car that no one knows about with a strange history. That said I’m looking for anyone who also owns/owned a Regency or knows someone with one. I’d love to create a registry and figure out specs and everything about the design process. It just seems like a special/custom edition that slipped through the cracks of time.
