Default PMP Raptor Mount

I took a few pics when I was installing the PMP Raptor mount so I thought I would share them with you guys.

Everything installed fine. No surprises.

The only negative I have found about the mount is it seems the dash and upper console will have to be removed to make any changes. It all removes pretty easy though.

Riven,
Nice install. I gave that position a thought as well. I really don't think you will be changing the settings too often once you are set anyway.....Any issue with visibility during the day???

Nice job,
Mike

Is it just me or does it look like your dash area looks like a robot's head? Nice place to install the raptor btw, never seen that spot done.

Dont know yet. Its all rainy and I have to remove my shaker to finish the install. My garage is to full of mustangs to have room to pull it out inside.

Think of it as a visual tach...Lights at a pre-set RPM, indicating time to shift.....

It appears as though it still isnt forsale on thier Website but Piedmont Modular Performance is the company that is making them.

http://www.pmpparts.com/

They started a thread over at Mod Fords intriducing them. I bugged them untill they sold me one early. =) You might be able to get one early also by messaging one of them.

I think it will get censored here but the original thread introducing them is:

Edit: Yep it got censored. replace the *s with

m o d u l a r f o r d s . c o m with no spaces.

I have mine set at 6k RMP so it lights up when the engine reaches 6k RMP.

When racing it is almost imposible to watch the tach in these cars because it is on the wrong dang side. This way you never have to take you eyes off the road.
