Not my style either. I noticed on australian RHD S197 conversions, they have their own style taillights as well.

They just change the outter lens to the turn signal. They do that here as well. personally prefer the clear middle lense over the amber lense. Hate the amber look much rather clear then go with clear covers up front to finish it off makes it look a bit cleaner.

As long as you use silver bulbs rather than amber otherwise you get the egg yolk effect.

Cant really see the point in doing the conversion out there though. Here it makes sense as its required by law and if we have to have it to drive the car id rather ruin the look a little for the driving experiance. It wont be me looking at the tail lights anyway...it would be everyone else.

the inside light should be clear and operate as a backup, the center remains red and the outside light should be amber. That's what "euro" means to me. Have things changed since the mid-80's when we'd mod 74-75 Capris?

They are cool but I like ours here in the states, the same way it looked like on the original 60's cars. Not to mention it would screw up the whole sequential look.

They should leave Mustang lights as they are, 3 big tail lights, and if an amber turn signal is needed then make from one of the reflectors.
The Eurolight with amber in the middle is just ugly.

Headlights have that hood on them that looks more aggresive, kinda like a 5 series BMW, don't care much for the angel eyes addition though, that should be exlusive to Bimmers, looks tacky otherwise. I wouldn't mind seeing those or the taillights on an actual car to see how it flowed though. Can't make a good decision without seeing it applied imo.

Amber is usually outter most light. You can get them euro with amber lenses like the image below. Personally I prefer the clear light in the centre. Its the same with the head lights we usually need an extra light mounting up front as a running / side light. So a few places change them to angel eye type lense (BMW style)

Found this website though someone else in the UK. Who has the clear rear lenses and Angel eye headlights on his stang.

i would definitly do it, still looks oem, just different, cleaner, more modern, the stock lights harken back to the original, but they lack, at least if they were LEDs, either it will be these or the red LED tailights....

you mean how i have converted my saleen? if you notice i also removed the plastic trim saleen put on covering the inner lens on both sides.
they are actually changing the rules over here in England shortly which will mean having to use either the euro style with clear centre lens or amber lens on the outer
