Gotta sell her
Assuming you are making more than Minimum wage there is no reason you can't afford both. House is by far more important as it is your body's garage! Yet you need transportation to work. If you love your car then you just need to find more money. Work a bit more, maybe a side job to make some cash.

Hate to hear she has to go! (the car that is lol). I think we have all been there a time or two in our life....I can relate and that is why mom's toy didnt come until after the boys were grown and a home was purchased!!!! I had to wait over 17 years before I got my toy!!! The next time you purchase it will be twice as good!!!

Unless you have a kid on the way and a 2nd job becomes impossible, a second job(better yet working for yourself) and you'll need, what, about 4-5 more hundred dollars a month to cover the Mustang fetish? I detail cars on the side(make anywhere from $2-6 hundred a month working about 6-20 extra hours a month, SUVs are the best to detail 'cause they're a bitch to clean for people, but because of their size you can charge some nice $$$ to detail them
). Although there are more important things than having a new car, but I'm from the school where I don't take a step backwards, and if I have to(hasn't happened yet, knock on wood), I'd bust my rump to get back to where I'm happy and stress-free. Just some advice, sorry if it sounds judgemental, not my intent. btw congrats on getting hitched
