Default Cleaning Center Console...?

Can anybody advise me how to clean the white (salt) residue from my center console "armrest"?
I was coming back from a tennis match last week and rested my slightly sweaty right arm on the console, and just noticed today that there's a little bit of white (salt) "residue" on it now!
I tried several times rubbing it with a damp sponge, but after it dries up it still looks the same........

I'd try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. They work awesome on taking stuff off of various interior parts. You know that grime that will appear on various parts of the wheel and blinker on your daily driver? One wipe will take it off, I had to use LOTS of simple green before and still didn't get it all. To me, the Magic erasers are like Duct tape, they have a million uses!

I just started using something from Mequiars and I absolutely love how well they clean my leather interior with NO greasy residue!!! They are called Quik all surface Interior Detailer Wipes. They worked really good. It certainly wouldnt hurt to try!!!! Good luck!

+1 I started using them too and they're pretty good. For the chrome rings around the a/c vents you have to wipe the residue off though.
