Hes prob just guessing his H.P. anyway, and i know a guy with a supercharged dakota and he does all the work himself and you can just tell he doesnt know enought to do it all himself , so he always has problems and tries to do his own tuning, its just a mess. Even if he has 370 hp obviously he cant drive so you should kill him if you can drive just a little bit and hook up. The STIs ive played around with from a roll they arnt bad because they lose some to the wheels. But from a dig those bitches are AWD and can launch like crazy. Thats if the driver knows how to launch.

I doubt hes puting down 370. Thats like me saying i started with 300 hp +35 for intake and tune + 35 for headers + 10 because i got a cool sticker on my dash. so im putting down around 380.Lol thats seriously what some people think. I had some kid tell me his Celica dynoed at 420 Hp and all he has done is intake and one of those big exhaust things. I wish i could get on that dyno id prob be up around 600 lol

Well, 370 hp could actually be a little low for the WRXes...I've seen several (granted, they were built by professionals in the industry!) that were north of 400 HP, to the wheels...But they also had extensive plumbing to move the intercooler, an upgraded turbo, upgraded exhaust, re-chipped & electrical system re-done, running race gas, etc. - All things that would get the car up into that range.

But if he's guessing at 370 hp, either he'ssandbagging it, or he's not got aclue WTF he's doing and is just pulling a figure out of the air. More likely, it's the latter rather than the former.

370 crank maybe which is about the same as you with the 300 hp +35 for intake and tune + 35 for headers + 10 comparison.....

WRXs are very easy to make fast, but a 13.8 is almsot stock territory, im a WRX fan... im actually about to pick one up lol

stock they do mid 14s but with a turboback exhaust and stage 2 tune (+50-60hp depending on car) it will quickly change the characteristics of the car... then an upgraded top mount intercooler and pullies is another good amount of power, or a simple turbo upgrade (not hard at all) and FMIC are some big gains.

the kid sounds like an idiot, 370hp is ALOT especially in a light awd WRX, STIs can almost hit high 12s stock and thats 300hp, but they put down like 240whp or in the general area (awd drivetrain loss sucks)

but if he says 13.8.... with intake/tune you'll take him.

370 doesnt take much exhuast, front mount and intake will get you there and turning the boost up a bit. The tune is even more important in those things. Know someone with a wrx P1 which you never got there. He has spent roughly the same and thats sitting at 350hp with dyno to prove it. Due to the turbo there very easy to make fast a tune on them alone gets them 30hp+ exhuast mods give huge gains as well. 40+hp is not uncommon for an exhuast upgrade.

OK, i just got rid of my 2005 WRX for my mustang, The WRX isa POS, sorry, but they are slow... 227 CRANK HP stock.u can get a cobb stage 2 package and it still only puts it at about 210 to the wheels. only about a 20 hp upgrade. If he was at 370 hp he would be running in the 12's no problem, even if he wasa ****ty driver it would be faster then 13.8... ESPECIALLY if its an STI, that 6 speed is a beast. that kid is full of it.
