Besides. It appears they ARE functional. The tape holds the bases on and the wire connects to the car. Might not be as bulletproof as those where you drill through the hood but they work.

i think the fake or real hoodpins are tight! real classic look imo. and hey 157db, if the post doesnt ask for your opinion, dont post one. especially if its a negative comment. thats not cool. we are all here to help each other out. some posts do ask for opinions so thats where you can post yours. ilovemycar, get the hoodpins. i saw some being installed at the MRT openhouse and it seems like a really simple install. not to mention they look badass.

Fake hood pins are like fake boobies........yeah they may look nice (and maybe even authentic)......but something just doesn't feel right about them......

I didnt think the comment was negative. Just went a little overboard, thats all.
