Default Availibility Fee???

Not sure how it is everywhere else in the US, but when I was home on leave looking at the '05s all the dealers in my area were charging "availability fees". These could range from $1000-$3000 for the V6 and $2000-$5000 for the GTs. Anyone else experiencing this? I am from the Central Florida area and couldn't believe the mark ups on these. Luckily I was able to order mine, and did not get charged this stupid fee.

Yeah...Southern California. Mark up is the same. Dealer friend of mine says another six months or so and the "lets rip you off fee" should be out of the dealerships. Glade you didn't get "ripped"
