I have a 06 GT Vert and need to make a minor adjustment to the top. I would take it to the dealer but I am more comfortable doing it myself. The Right side needs to come forward about 1/4 inch so the weatherstrip seals correctly. Any clue anyone?

I would take it to the dealer - I have no skills though. Sounds like they would take care of it.

 

What kind of adjustments? I have the workshop manuals for the 07
models. PM me with specifics?

 

You can loosen the latch with a Torx driver & there is some adjustment in the latch, maybe its enough.

 

Dont mess with the latch. There is an adjustment.

Loosing the latch would not bring the roof closer to close the gap in the weatherstrip either but thanks for the thought.

 

Why do you think the latch position is adjustable. It sets where the final position of the top is. Its just like a door striker, it is repositioned to give the ideal fit. Moving the latch back 1/8 in will move the top forward 1/8 in against the windshield. There is alot of adjustment in it. Also you are supposed to latch the drivers side before the passenger side, the openings are shaped different.
