i got flowmaster right now andthinkin about getting frpp stingers
Is it anyone that had flowmasters first and switch to stingers.
was it a big difference in sound or minimal change.
i heard the stingers before but they dont sound that much louder than flowmasters,
from you guys view is it worth switching to the stingers please help.

I had flowmaster 40's on my car when i bought it....i thought they were stock lol cuz i bought the car used...When i got my borlas i took off the other mufflers and saw that they were flowmasters...looked up the part number and they were the 40 series... The borlas sound soooooooo much better at least in my opinion...They are louder and deeper and drone a little bit more but i dont care...i love them

Hello there.....I have the Borla Stinger catback system. I think you would be very happy and impressed by the sound they generate. I had a hard time making the decision to go with Borla vs Corsa. I worried because Borla is often associated with the infamous "drone" at lower RPM's.....I personally believe the sound commands others attention, which is ultimately what I was looking for. I was afraid if I paid all that money for the Corsa's I would be disappointed. I know you are asking about Borla vs Flowmaster, I can only speak from experience about Borla. Seems to be a very well constructed system.....only con with the whole system is there are some fine adjustments with the positioning of the pipes to prevent any rattling in the rear end, which from what research I have done is completely normal. Anyways, I know the Borla system costs slightly more than what you would pay for the Flowmaster, but I still think the sound is a little deeper, richer and more even toned from the Stingers. Good luck on your decision. Shella ~

I've got flowmasters and my friend has Borlas. I think the Borlas sound deeper and more muscular. Not by much but I think enough to where If Borlas come down to a reasonable price I'll consider swapping them out.

BTW-Anyone with Borlas that wants to switch to flowmasters let me know I'll be more than happy to trade.

I upgraded to frpp stingers from flowmaster american thunders a few weeks ago. The frpp stingers are much louder and deeper in all rpms than the flowmasters. There is some drone around 1800-2200 rpm, but I dont mind it..

I got them from here http://www.northparkmotorsports.com/...ust-p-865.html

Okay first of all - BORLA all the way.....I dropped the money to get them because I know that I would get what I paid for. The Borla system is AWESOME TO ME, EVEN BETTER THAN THE Corsa Kit ,IN MY OPINION. An old man here in town has the Corsa kit on his and it just seems like its an OK deep sound but kinda like it holds the sound back...The sound is what you WANT. If the deep, throaty, muscle car sound is what you are looking for than Borla is your friend. Plus you can go around seeing everyone else has flowmasters, macs, slp's, and all the other systems that don't cost much at all and say to yourself, "Well I got the BORLA Stingers......The way u can tell which borlas to get to make sure u get the stingers, they will be listed as "Borla-S", that is the Stinger system.....

Which one is the best between the borlas. The catback or the aggressive catback. The aggressive system is 50 dollars cheaper for some reason.
