Default CAI Install

Just installed my JLT II CAI and the Brenspeed 87 tune...pretty awesome is all i can say! Can't wait to run outta gas so I can try out the 93 tune! (Is there abigdifference???)Installed the CAI by myself...hardest part was getting the pvc tube into the rubber elbow, after about 100 tries I wised up and put on some lube...slipped right into place after that! Anyways, I would definatley recommend this setup to anyone on the boarderline about getting one like I was for about 6 months. Car shiftsso muchharder, bout made me pee my pants the first time! Thanks to all who's posts finally pushed me into ordering!

Sorry, but someone was bound to.......[8D][8D]

Seriously, glad you finally caved and got the intake and tune. Yes, there is yet another major difference between the 87 and 93 tune....It like the gift that keeps on giving.....

Congrats,
Mike

I've been on the fence about this for about a year - just beenhesitant for some reason. Post like this make me feel that I am really missing out a lot by not having a CAI/tune. I would definitely purchase from Brenspeed. Thanks for sharing your experience and pushing me closer!

brenspeed was pretty quick. I ordered mine late Monday afternoon and got it the following Wednesday. They said 5-7 days for programming the SCT tune and 3-5 for ship. Not bad, my opinion.
