I have an 2006 V6 5spd and on power 4 it's not very cold at all. I have another car and on full blast it blows artic cold. I also see a HUGE decrease in power, does anyone have the same thing or?

 

I live in Florida where it's HOT and HUMID and my A/C works like champ. After the car cools off (5 minutes max) I have to set the fan on 1. Take it to the Stealership, I think there's a TSB on it, of course I could be wrong...just ask my girlfriend

 

Nope. The A/C will only cool a certain percentage then the ambient air temp. So it won't be as cold in 100 degree weather then it would be in 80. The point of it is to remove the humidity. You could have a small leak and are just low on freeon. Been seeing a lot of compressors with the front shaft seals leaking.

I'm in Arizona, and my car is outside all day monday-friday, and I never have to set the A/C above speed 2, and I have never had to set it to "max" either, just regular A/C. Its always been really cold.

Maybe i'm dieing and my blood is slow and cooling anyways.

 

Mine is actually a problem because it freezes the window. The GT500 isn't so bad but the GT will freeze it...

 

My A/C works great, but I hardly use it, the engine don't like the extra drag and I like to keep it happy. I also live in FL, but only use the a/c in the middle of the day.

a/c and heat is why we live as long as we do nowadays. Without those we'd be done at 60-70.
