Default I was shocked!!!!

So my car has been in the body shop for two weeks. So I called to day to check on it cause it was suposed to be ready today. They told me it still wasn't ready and that it would be early next week. Now here is the shocking part they called the rental company and had the charges for my rental moved over to them so I wouldn't have to pay anymore out of pocket. I was stunned. I had lost faith in people and they proved me wrong.

Well bravo to them. That's the right thing to do. If they can't get it done in a certain amount of time, then they shouldn't promise a time. Reminds me of my Maaco lesson I had to learn the hard way. No matter what, don't believe anything Maaco might say. Never get a car painted at a Maaco.

Maaco = bad idea.

Been there done that , you get what you pay for and if you pay for maaco you get maaco , id rather have a car painted flat black like the rice rockets then get a maaco

I had such a bad experience at Maaco that I actually did a stop payment on the check... I was still stuck with a horrible looking car that was covered in overspray, including the rims and tires, but at least I got my money back.

Funny you guys are bad mouthing Macco...

Yesterday I took my baby (nope NOT the Stang) my '88 chevy pick up with 240K miles never wreck and only a couple of small dents (biggest being right thereleft rear corner of the cab)to Macco and talked to the about their $499 Presidentual package. What a JOKE! estimate came to 1,495! I said, "Your kidding right? The truck is onlyworth about $2000 the way is sit and it'd be worth less than $1,495 AFTER you guys paint it! NO thanks!"

Its my baby because it been through1 1/2wives and 4 kids and still looking good!!Gave it a face lift onthe front end last year.

How much body work are you getting done? WhenI got my chin spoiler/ducktail doneI left the parts there and he preppedpainted andI came back and then i came back for them.I am very leary as to leaving my stang in shops(I know its not a ferrari but its something thats i really like and dont't want mistreated).....always take a picture of the mileage and to make sure a guy diden't take your stang home for the week. Imagine if you are driving and then you see your own stang do a fly-by next to you....[&:]

They forgot about your car and felt guilty hence the free rental.

Having the whole front end replaced. The radiator support was bent in the accident. The shop told me they had not worked on a lot of the new Stangs and it had slowed them down. This shop has done work for me in the past and I was very happy with the results.
