appearance mod, need opinions
yesterday i figured out how to pop out the third brake light. i want to lay down a pony decal (from the brake calliper decal set)over the center of it, and put G and T on sides of the pony. then i want to have it painted lime to match the body. then the stickers will come off and i will have it clear coated. finished product will leave red where the stickers were and the rest will be green. kind of like the 3rd brake light decals, only in lime, and with paint.
what does everyone think of this idea? im open to other suggestions for what i should make it say. i dont want anything too specific, like "u r 2 slow" or whatever. i want it to be somewhat classy, as if the car was supposed to come this way. the guy at the body shop said it can definitely be done.

Is your car only for show?
I'm guessing that blocking off part of the 3rd brake light is probably illegal.
Surely there are better mods you can do.
Don't give someone who rearends you an excuse!

Actually only the eu has stringent brake light laws. It would be giving a rear ender an excuse, but to be sure, call your local sherif's department and ask if a partial rear break light decal is legal. It should be. Even if the rear ender has an excuse, if it's legal it's their fault.
very true. i had a brake light decal on before, never got pulled over. a little different when i pay to have it painted lime tho. do they make decals in different colors? i'd much rather a colored decal, than having it painted.
