I have the rear louvers that attach with 3M tape...

Clean the window using the alcohol pads that come with the louvers or use isopropol alcohol...

Very carefully line up thelouvers to the back window and attach the front side of the louver while using your finger as a guide...

If you are sure that the alignment is correct begin to stick the back side of the louver to the window and press down all around the edges...

THEY WILL NOT COME OFF!!!

While it is not meant to be a step by step installation guide, i do have a little write up on my web page: http://www.v6john.com/Main/Appearanc...ar_louvers.htm

As others have said... make sure the glass is clean! And remember once the tape hit the glass, it's there to stay! So make sure your placement is where you want it! No need for any sealant... trust me... it ain't coming off... LOL

hey John, how hard do you think it is to get the side louvers to match the color of the rear louver which is satin black? should be easy for the body shop to do right?

I have the Vista/MRT on mine. As mentioned, use the prep wipes prior to installing the pads on the window. I also waited the recommended 24HRS before installing the louvers. Been on since Feb, none of my mounting pads have loosed. The Astro-Hammond ones have you seal the edges of the mounting pads w/silicone to prevent water from getting on the pads mounting tape, but it hasn't been needed on mine so far.
Just be sure to layout the upper hinge pads carefully. After I mounted those, I hung the louvers on & aligned the bottom pads & the 2 upper corner pads.
