Default 05-07 Drag Wheels

Hey Guys. So what is everyone using? I am looking to purchase a good set of 17" wheels to use with slicks.

Any ideas? I am just looking for something thats working well, is light, and somewhat cheap.

Thanks in advance.

Right, I have Weld Draglites, 15x10s right now for the rear, but I can't find anywhere how to make them work on an '06 GT. I read somewhere about a rear sway bar reloaction kit, but I never saw anyone actually running 15" wheels on the rear of the car. That would be a lot easier, because then I wouldn't have to find 17" wheels and slicks, you know? Anyone know about this?

They're not all that light or cheap (relatively speaking), but I'm running 17x9" replica Bullitts with 28" dia. 275/50-17 M&H Racemaster DR's. I've got 4.10's too.

For the track I use my original 17" wheels 17 x 8 with Mickey Thompson 26X11.50-17 ET Streets. I wish I knew the answer to using a light 15" drag wheel but these are doing fine and hook OK(1.7 60 ft times). I've got 30 some odd runs and plenty of tread left.

15" bogarts are probably the best, but they are pricey, I run them with 325/50/15 drag radials and traction is no longer a problem as long as i put a little heat in them and my times are very consistant. may not be worth it unless you are running alot of hp and take it to the track a lot.
