I was going to write the same thing. I have the magnaflow magnapacks and because of the side exhaust the magnapacks are in the middle as well flanking the rear of the trans. I love the sound and I have an h-pipe with stock cats.

Lol, the 2v engines sound different than the 3v's. I can't believe I am the one to point that little known fact out. [&:]

EDIT: He also has High-flow cats which change the sound noticably.

Don't worry your car is way faster.

I was pretty disappointed when I learned the 2 valvevs 3 and 4 valve (GT500) difference...ButI was rolling behind a guy yesterday through town who has an 06 GT. He hasFlow 40 axel backs(just as I have) and the rest stock. He got on it a little at the light and it sounded pretty damn good. Made me feel better as I don'tget to hear my exhaust from that angle.

I've got magnapacks on my GT. Welcome to the wonderful world of Drone....

My friend bought his Mustang (left) and says it came Magnaflows and high-flow cats. I had Magnaflow installed and am wondering why the difference?

Change to a highflow catted H or off road H and you'll here a big difference. However, you'll never be the same as his, as mentioned earlier different engines.

I would like to take your word for it. How much for high-flow cats?
Everywhere I look it's just pricing on cat back exhaust.
