Clear tape bra?

Clear tape bra?

Has anyone have experince with the newfangled clear tapeon front end bra? Like a tape on clear coat but I never met anyone that tried it. Great idea though.

I have never heard of it but if it's tape and sticky I wouldn't use it. You might screw up your paint job.

It's made by 3M just for that purpose. It gets installed by an pro like window tint and can be removed. Saves all those nasty rock chips.

Personally if you ask me I don't like bras. The paint might look funny after you take it off even if it is clear (esp. if moisture gets in there). I would get another opinion... Anyone...

I have heard a lot of people say Pam (the stuff used for cooking) works to keep bugs off, but obviously it won't do anything to prevent rock chips.

I know someone who installs tint and that bra tape. he has it on a few of his cars. i can hardly tell it was on the car. it was like 4" wide. looked good and keeps the front end chip free.
