GT 500KR Question
I was talking to my father in law over the 4th.We got on the subject of our cars.He has a beutiful 1965 289 vert.Anyway I was telling him about the mark up on the Shelby GT 500 at the dealerships(He was completley unaware it was so high). He said his neighbor just ordered a 2008500KR.Anyone know what those cars are going for? If the GT 500's are still 15k over MSRP I would imagine the KR somewhere between 80 and 100k.Am I that far off?
That's what I thought.I didn't want to sound like a know it all but he said"There is no way my neighbor would spend that kind of money on a car"My response was "Then there is no way your neighbor ordered a 500KR".But he assured me he did.

I would bet you'll even be north of $100K, especially for the 'extreme (no warranty)' version.

The GT500 is for the retarded willing to spend 15K over for the car. Well,ok, I'm retarded but the KR is for the Super retarded.
Inacase you guys do not realize the reality of it, the only reason wealthy people are buying these KR's is as an investment. They are only building 1,000 and they are the most powerfull Mustang that has ever been built. They are not daily drivers, and the owners are not buying them for power, but as an investment. If I had the money I would also buy one. The people who buy Lambo's are"retarded" because they alsways see them on the road and they think they are the coolest thing ever, when in reality, there are much better and faster cars for less money, and Lambo's do not appreciate in value like the KR's eventually will.
