My car broke

My car broke
So i'm on my way to work friday morning about 6:45 on the interstate about a 1/2 mile before my exit about 70 mph when I feel ahard thud in my shifter almost like it poped out of gear and i'm like wtf!!! continue to exit and don't think anything of it until I go to accelerate, car feels powerless so I slow down coming to a red light and I hear this gut wrenching noise, metal thunking and clanking and i've got nothing but the worst thoughts running through my mind, so I pull over into to an empty parking lot to see what the hell is going on ( thank god the roads are pretty empty at this time) turn the car off pop the hood and the first thing that slaps me in the face is a loose supercharger belt, so i'm thinking it just slipped off. NOT SO LUCKY! upon further inspection I look down to find the pulley that connects to the crank pulley to run the supercharger minding its own buisness being a loaner stuck in the cooling fan or what used to be the cooling fan, my mind goes blank for a second , I may have blacked out from the shock, not sure, but I found the cause to be the bolt that mates these two pullies just broke right the "F" in half leaving one peice to be surgically removed. So I had her towed to shop that had done the install and come to find out that this has happened before do to a bad batch of bolts from procharger. Just glad it wasn't alot worse like a blown motor or a fried tranny.

I have the Whipple but I'm not going to start a KB v Whipple v procharger thing. I just would say that IMHO the KB is the best looking setup I've yet seen. It's a bonny looking unit, sits perfectly on top the 4.6l
