Just wondering everyones thoughts. When will the new Mustang body come out and is it worth putting a lot of money into current model if it's going to change in 11/2 or 2 yrs? Also, what do you think dealers will give usfor trades on modded stangs? Just curious on thoughts...I'm still gonna keep modding.[8D]

To me it doesnt look too much different. If anything they will change the bumper covers, headlights, grilleand interior. But most likely it is still on the same platform so if you want to upgrade your 05-07 I imagine most of these new parts will be available once the car is released.

There are not enough body panel differences changed on that car in order for it to be considered a new model. If they intend to use the same doors, rear quarters, etc, and only change the hood, bumper, and maybe the front fenders, then it's just a modified current model.

My guess is that this is some special 2008 model before the next model change.

If you plan on selling your modded Mustang I would try to sell it yourself before you take it to a dealer to trade it in. A dealer wants to make money on it, and will pay as little as possible...when a person you sell to might totally fall in love with it and pay you more money. If it doesn't work out, THEN you can take it to trade in.

Seems hard to believe that they would list that as a new body style. I think I'm goin with Souperdave on that one.
