Running too Lean
The tuner im working with is well...hard to get a hold of. I got the pinging fixed in the lower RPM's but now when i go 50% or more on the throttle my wideband shoots to 16AFR and jolts like hell!!! Is there anyway I can fix this by modifying the tuneor does he have to do it??? Can i add fuel??

RE: Running too Lean
If you have a tuner, I have the predator and you can go into the WOT wide open throttle and add fuel at 2-4k and at 4-7 k. I would add about 10%and recheck until you start getting close. I am running about 12.8 to 13.0 and produce the most power in that range with no other problems. 16% is way too lean. good luck

RE: Running too Lean
Your A/F will go all over the place, mine shoots up to 14's-15's for a split sec, you have to let it catch, the most Important thing is WOT, What Kind of A/F gauge do you have? Again mine shoots all over the place during 5-75% untill it catchs up then it reads perfect WOT. Did this just start? Go to the tuner shop but I think your fine.

Dex.
Only way to be 100% sure it to get the car on a wideband and see whats going on. Datalogging the timing and RPM might help. Based on what I read above sounds like your tune was done maybe when it was cooler out? If that is the case you are probably seeing a function of to much timing than total fuel. At some point more fuel at 93 octane isn't the answer the answer is less compression(either static or boost)or less timing to reduce cylinder pressure. Turning up the fuel if its not the fix could result in enough detonation to break something....pulling time will only cut power which as it stands isn't as important as longevity.
Pull some timing or put in some C16 and see what happens is my vote.
