So....honestly....what does your better half really think of your mods or planned mods? My girlfriend thinks I ought to see someone (as in seek professional help). I complained once about herquestionable need to have so many pairs of shoes...she shoved me into a chair and said "EXCUSE ME......have much did you just spend on this or that for the mustang........". She's a trooper though...she enjoys going to the track and car shows etc and she doesn't even complain about her new seating arrangement as the pic clearly shows.

 

My husband says "it's your thing." He is not into cars at all. Just give him a 4 wheel drive vehicle and he's happy.

 

My wife thinks mine is a "redneck" car and for the most part doesn't like it. I will admit though I try to keep the mods somewhat tasteful on the car because she does on occasion drive it and is a realtor so the image she projects is important. For example what you see above and my wife wouldn't just $hit the brick she would probably try and make me eat it.....LOL

For my exhaust upgrade I will have GT prem mufflers and no cats.....that will be enough noise for me. Wheels are a touchy one because I can't find any other than razors I like but those are on every mustang I seem to see.

My wife avoids taking my car most of time when we go places funny enough though when she does drive it she bangs gears and enjoys it. Maybe I should share the prozac!!

 

Hmmm we have TWO 06convertible Mustangs ...... That should give you an idea of what she thinks of MY mods! As soon as the supercharger went on she wanted her own car...... (win win hehe)

I still slip a few mods in on her car from time to timethough.... (been caught on every darn one of them too)

 

she prefers it to other hobbies I could have....

gambling.....drinking...... whoreing around..... LOL

she doesnt seem to care...

my wife refuses to ride in it, according to her it's to loud,the ride is to rough, and she doesn't like everyone staring at us, so if we go anywhere we have to take her Lexas RX300, it's not loud enough,
ride is to smooth (you can't feel the road) and nobodynotices you.

 

My wife won't come close to it anymore either....

 

Actual conversation last week:

Me: "So...I ordered the CAI and tunes I've been teling you about". (Been researching and deciding for months).
Her: "Finally! Why did you wait so long?"

'Nuff said!

 

My wife is very cool with everything...she knows that whenever I get a new "hobby," I go ***** out!! I guess as long as there is money for the mortgage, she doesnt care.
