Default Car Bra

A car rolled down a hill and hit my car, and scuffed may bumper pretty bad, and i dont really wanna spend 1k to repair it, so should i just get a car bra. Will the bra if i get it mess up the paint on my car, or make a certain area of the lighter or darker than the other. I know i have to take it off to wash it, but other wise will my cars paintget discolored?

First, JMO () pay the money to get it fixed (or file an isurance claim) rather than getting a bra. I can't stand the look of a bra on ANY car, much less a Mustang. Please don't do it...

That having been said, it's obviously your call! I've known several people who have had bras and I think that if you get a high quality one you shouldn't have any problems with the paint, but some of the cheaper (read: "sh!ttier) ones can mess it up. But someone who owns a bra can probably speak more intelligently about it...haha. And if you wash and wax your car enough, and keep good care of it I wouldn't think, you'd see any discoloration.

Sorry to hear about the fender bender - I know that sucks!

I bought the Ford Bra off e-bay yesterday. Should have it in a few days Will let you know what I think of it. I have heard mixed feelings about them. I bought mine for a road trip only notdaily driving. If I was to put one on for daily use I would have a clear mask installed. I don't like the look of them but I will put up with it for a long road trip down 95.
