Default Help me find a posting

Can you help me find a posting?

The post was about someone painting the raised letters on the tires with a tire paint stick. It was fairly recent.

I searched but must have used the wrong terms. Plus I don't remember which forum it was in so I will also be asking in the other forums.

Thanks.

I just spent 10 minutes trying to find it. I remember the post - he painted his s197's white pzero's raised letters with white paint of some sort...found that a dabbing motion worked best...then someone mentioned it would be cool to paint it red...I remember someone mentioned when they read the post they thought he painted his whole tire...I hope this helps... at least a bump!

TA-DA!

I think the member who painted them was Mr. Sandman (https://mustangforums.com/showProfile.asp?memid=50441), but the thread that I think you are looking for is this one: https://mustangforums.com/m_2771308/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm.

Also, check out this one: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=696363

Hope that helps! Cheers!

Hey man, I like your vert. The rear GT500 splitter looks nice on there. Plus the color combo. Thumbs up.[sm=smiley20.gif]

Hey thanks! I wish I could take credit for doing something special by adding the splitter on the back, but that's just the way the GT/CSs come. (haha!). But I do like the way it makes the car look.

You have a pretty nice looking vert yourself. I need to take some cool picture of mine like you have in your sig. My sig pic is about the only one that I have - yes, sad, I know.

Thar be it. Thanks everyone.

I think I am going to try it. If it looks too funky, it will wear off.

If you're like me you'll prolly need new tires before you get sick of it.
