Default Heat Extractor Hood Opinions

What do you all think of the "boy racer" heat extractor hood? Looks to be a good price through Moss Mustangs, but what about the fit? Also, any concerns with fitting a new CAI kit? I was thinking about the kit from mrt-direct.com. I'm thinking of having it painted in a flat black, matching my rear blackout panel. Any suggestions or comments?

One otherquestion, I read elsewhere that a member had to remove his plenum cover because of this specific hood. Any comments? http://www.mossmustang.com/Shop/View...eIndexID=53591

I can tell you that your car will run 20 degrees cooler. Nothing on fitment issues though.

I know it finally released but I don't know of anyone running it yet. But should help with cooler temps as well as maybe the hood shake S197s have at higher speeds

It says in the description that it will not fit supercharged models, so im guessing the added height of the supercharger (and maybe a plenum cover) could be to much since the hood myst be lower. I was waiting for this hood for the longest time but i've got a s/c, i guess I can live with myself.

I've had the hood for awhile now. Got it through our rep HEHE!!! The cover does rub on the hood a little. You can always get lowering motor mounts http://www.teamjdm.com/shop/product_...roducts_id=199for better clearance. Will even clear a supercharger. The JLT never was an issue with the hood though.

Who is our rep and how can I get a hold of him/her? Also, I'm not up to date on all of the "letters" used in the forum, not sure what a JLT is...??

Nevermind, I just answered my own question in regards to the JLT CAI. So, it fits well and works well with the hood?

None with the intake. We deal directly with the owner and sales rep at my work. Thats why I got the hood months ago as a demo.
