Default back from track results

this might be long sorry. have questions at end, thank you. i can post pics of slips next week if needed cameras home. not to happy yet not to dissapointed. midnight drags at RMR in saltlake, air temp 85 give or take 2. 5200 ft alt. runing an 06 GT AUTO with jlt cai, pypes axel back, 62bbk tb , and a 91oct tune from brenspeed first time on track ever! just out to get #s, made 4 runs. figured id worked the horse long enough. first run was[sm=wtf.gif] staged to quick and took me by surprise! R/T-1.07. MPH-94.48. 1/4MI 15.19. SEC. R/T-.547. 1/4-15.33. MPH-94.53. and so on...and i know reaction time means nothing but a jump start. nice thing about about it is there was a an 07 SALEEN that ran a 18 sec 1/4. then 16[X(] and the VIPER? 16&17 then they both ran 13s[:@] ran against new S.C. GTO and beat him in time but not length. got me off the line! his was a 15.4 to my 15.3. 89.2 to my 94.3 MPH respectivly. oh, ah , drove in auto all time. didnt know it wasnt going to be brackets. just an alt to street racing. or i would of tried some diff sh%t. QUESTIONS- can i put my 93 tune in with 88 oct at this altitude? ive ran 93 once and its was awsome by puting in some 100oct to the 91oct. what will the 93 give me at the track? 1sec? what our these things suppose run? i read 13.5? from the floor? dont think so! last one i NEED to get to the 13s how can i do that simpley? going to S.C. eventually. ive got buds with 68 goats and novas that are building to beat the pony cant let a goat beat the pony! thanks for any sugestions.

It must really kill performance being at 5200ft! The easiest way to get 13's for you is to drive to a lower alt. What were your 60ft times, post the time slip, it will tell the story.

I ran high 13's manually shifting, and low 14's leaving it in drive all day with no traction at all. That was with 93 oct.tune from Breenspeed. No nitrous, with NOS 125 shot 12.80 feathering it off the line due to traction problems.Next time at track I am going to try lowering the rear tire pressure a little. If that dont work it's time for cheater slicks. Also the 13's and 14's were ran with Brenspeed mail order tunes. I broke into the 12's after getting her Dyno tuned. Dyno's are worth every penny you spend.

Wow, that's bad. I was hitting high 13's bone stock. Of course, my track is actually at sea level.
