Default Louvers or Scoops

Which do you think is better, louvers or scoops on the quarter window... I am undecided.

Do you think the $184 painted scoops on flewbyu.com are worth anything, or should I get non painted $200 louvers/scoops and have them painted?

Also, can anyone provide pictures of a painted (non black) rear window louver? Not sure if black or torch red would look better on my car...

i like the look of louvers just a little bit better, but the best part is you can still see out of louvers..

The scoops look nice, but the louvers are much more practical cause there's no blind spot to deal with.JMO

Scoops. Nothing against louvers, but they seem to be more common (at least in Southern California). I like my Cervinis scoops, but if you must go louvers, the Roush looks good. Looks are subjective...

Personally I think louvers look very 80's. They remind me of those awful louvers on the back windows of those old Firebirds.

I like scoops much better. Mine are fiberglass and from Blow-By Racing.

In 2 or 3 days I was totally adjusted to not being able to see out of the rear windows. We have a huge back window and giant rearview mirrors. I don't see how anyone could have any trouble with the rear windows covered.

I am old school...and prefer the louvers. I saw a black louver on a Vista Blue the other day an loved the retro look. I plan on putting one on mine.

Here are my painted louvers:

Here's a pic looking out. I'm pretty sure the view out is better than through the Roush ones. Definately better than with the scoops. I'm still waiting for a company to wake up and make ones with a bracket that attaches to the window, like the Roush ones, but that can accept either scoops or louvers. Easy on/ easy off, easy to clean the window... sounds like a great idea to me. That way you can have the scoops for show and the louvers for go. If you want to back out of a parking space at a crowded parking lot, go with these.
