Who really makes that oil would be my question? I know on my HD, they went through a number of 'low cost providers' for which they charged a premium price [:'(].

Not saying the same is happening here but it's always good to know the real source.

I know the Motorcraft oil filters are made by Purolator. When I was a dealer tech 10 years ago I was told the oil was re-branded Quaker State, but I don't know how valid that is or if it has changed since.
