Default going to 295 45 18's out back, speedometer?

I have the SCT programmer from Bamma chips along with 3 programs. Do I have to contact Doug to edit them or can I do that myself with the hand held? I looked in the book and didn't see any help on the matter..........

I going with a taller fatter tire outback

You can adjust for tire size yourself. Just follow the prompts on the tuner.

It's the revolutions/mile you'll need to adjust. If memory serves, the 295/45/18 (per Nitto's site) is 734 revs/mile.....I think

My speedo was off from the factory with the stock 17" tires. The speedometerread 70 mph and I was actually going 68. This was verfied by a high end GPS. I then installed the Nitto 295/45/18's and it is now right on. Imagine that!

Where'd you find that out at? I remember seeing a site, but I forget it.

If you go to the Tire Manufactures website and look up the specs for the tire you run they should have this info on their site.

They also have tire calculators on most tire sites like discounttire.com and tirebarn.com. And MTAS is right, roughly 734revs/per mile for that size Nitto. It's very easy to adjust with the Xcal-2. The only way I can adjust mine is by loading the stock tune and then reloading the custom tune. It asks you before you load the custom tune if you'd like to change any of the parameters. Is that the only way to make changes with the Xcal-2?
