I'm in the process of purchasing a 2007 GT Coupe, Redfire, barebones except for 3:31 limit slip and interior upgrade package. I want to build it up gradually.

Quick question: If I were to add an exhaust and a CAI, would I need to recalibrate the computer or would the computer detect and adjust to the change?

alright, I get first crack! The CAI needs a retune unless you buy K&N or granatelli, and IMHO any intake that doesn't require a tune, does not have as much to offer gain-wise as one that does...the axlebacks don't require a tune, an o/r midpipe needs a tune only to turn off the CEL (unless you got the MIL eliminators). The CAI/tuner combo is an excellent first mod, I'd recommend brenspeed for MTs and B*A*M*A* chips for the slushboxes. I've heard of increases near 30rwhp in some cases. Other bolt-ons like shorties, UDPs, delete plates, and midpipes offer smaller increases, and the axlebacks offer zero. A short gear will really wake the thing up, and some rear ca's will stop the wheel hop that I always got at the low-to-mid rpms...

p.p.s. C&L and some other companies do offer a tune-less CAI but see my comment re: gain, besides you'll need the tuner down the road as you build the car up...
