I am going to be making a few mods here in the next three weeks, the only thing that isn't really minor is exhaust but I had a few questions...

1) Tinting: I have a black car, so what tint level would be best without making it look completely blacked out and avoiding the "purple effect"?

2) Chin Spoiler: Does it really even do anything for the car? Is it worth the money? I want to improve the look of the body but should I just put that hundred bucks towards the side window louvers?

1 tinting.

The old school tint looked purple.
Any quality tint today is black, black.
Your state limits the percentage of
tint allowed. Get the moleskin for
the inside wipers so it a dont a scratcha
your new tint.

2. chin spoiler

Reduces the amount of air traveling under the car.
Works for Nascar.

 

Most likely your tint level is 30%, but check with local police.

Chin spoiler is for esthetics. YOU will never gain anyreal aerodynamical advantage thanks to it.

as for the tint i did 20% In Ny the Legal limit is 70% so either way im already illegal its your choice

 

Now you have the setup I am looking for! Any opinions about the chin spoiler?

 

CDC Classic chin does a lot fot the looks in my opinion. Especially with stripes.

 

I might put a chin spoiler nuthin to big The GT500 one is nice
