Default Battery Relocation

I'm going to move the battery to the trunk this weekend while I have it apart for my car PC install.
See - http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/work...g-install.html

I have the Summit Premium Battery Box kit:

I have read the following threads, but I have some questions and could use some last minute advice. This is the first relocate I've done.

Is the plastic box in this kit ok, or should I have gone aluminum.
Go inside with the cables or out?
Can I add the kill switch later (before the track) or is it better to install it now?
Any problems (hitting anything) with drilling the holes for the install?
Any other gotchas for the newbie?

Thanks

Default RE: Battery Relocation

Didn't get around to moving the batt yet. I have more questions:

There are two wires off the positive post on the stock battery. How do I connect both of them to the new cable that will make it's way back to the trunk? Use the existing post and connect it to the new post? If so, is it ok to connect the amp from the existing stock post as well?
