Man at the gas station suggets i put in Techtron in my gas tank. He says it cleans out your car like, the injectors, He uses it for his BMW he has a 120,000 roadster its like a very fast z4 (i forgot what its called).

Never heard that but more expensive foreign cars suggest you use special things in your car and stuff i dont know ,

I always say dont just go putting stuff in your car. If its tune up time or if you had an older car, then maybe... but normally, i wouldnt say so.

did u mean techron? it keeps the injectors clean, keeps performance close to its peak over time. techron is just a term chevron uses for its additive.

I always take advice from the man at the gas station. Do a little research. All major gas companies have detergents and additives in their gas. Techron is no better than the rest. I'd stay away from shell though. Their quality control standards have left a lot to be desired in the past few years.

Great stuff. Only additive I use. Put the 20 gal. size bottle (treats 20 gal of gas)in every 5000 miles.

I haven't used anything like it in 37 years of driving and never had a problem...so, on that basis I would say save your money for something better.

True. Techtron is a well respected product.

I used Seafoam in the tank at 26K just to clean things up a little.
